Landing with BalticSailing

Landing with BalticSailing

The white sailcloth flutters gaily in the wind, the crystal-clear blue water washes around the bow of the wooden ship and calm descends on board – such is the maritime atmosphere at one of the 38 harbours in Germany and Denmark which are part of the BalticSailing project, a cooperation of harbours which bids sailing enthusiasts welcome to one of the most beautiful areas for sailing and motorboating in Europe.

Visit the regions

East Holstein and Lübeck show themselves from their best sides. The marinas along the River Trave open up to the world from their location close to the Hanseatic city of Lübeck. The marinas in the Bay of Lübeck are particularly impressive due to their modern facilities and abundance of tourist attractions. And at the harbours along the Fehmarn coast, you can enjoy a mix of first class infrastructure and idyllic nature.

On Lolland and Falster, the harbours are characterised by their unique location, surrounded by nature and sights and attractions. Anchor in peaceful solitude or moor in traditional harbour towns with white sandy beaches or at marinas in bustling towns, which have much to offer visitors to the area. The magazine Segeln had this to say: You can see why Denmark has been chosen as Europe’s most attractive sailing area. After a day out sailing, the landing is a truly wonderful experience. Whether culture, nature, shopping or golf are your thing, there is something for everyone here. The BalticSailing partner harbours and their 12,000 moorings are presented in greater detail over the following pages and offer you a warm welcome.
